Jamie Campbell Bower has been cast as Jace Wayland!!
Woohoo! Jace! Yay! Finally! We've all been waiting for so long! And even thought I admit I had my doubts when I heard people mentioning this actor, when I look at him, yes. I can see him as Jace!
British actor Bower, who is best known for his roles as Caius in Twilight's New Moon and Anthony in Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street will step into the shoes of Cassandra Clare's male lead Jace Wayland in the movie adaption of her best selling The Mortal Instruments series.
Cassandra Clare actually says in an interview at Hollywood Crush that she literally started crying inside when she saw the audition he did with Lily Collins, who has already been casted as Clary, because it was HER Jace and Clary.
Hmmmm, personally, I think that with a haircut and a little polish here and there he'll be the perfect Jace!
What do you think? Do you agree that he's going to make a swoon worthy Jace or is there someone else who would have been better?

Hmmm...I'm not really seeing it. I pictured him more...I donno, buff or something, like the guy on the cover! lol That's not how I pictured him though. :-\

Oh, I pictured him buff too. Still do actually. But people can do alot in the space of time they have to get ready. Think of Taylor Lautner.
