I think this book sounds fantastic and I'm very much looking to getting around to reading it.

- Illusions of Fate by Kiersten White 

I've always enjoyed Kiersten White's novels and I'm keen to read this stand alone novel--it sounds very promising.

- The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black 

Like so many readers I am absolutely IN LOVE with The Folk of the Air series and am so excited to finally have my hands on this book! I've already started reading it and so happy to be with Jude and Cardan for their final tale!

- Empire of Night by Kelley Armstrong 

I enjoyed the first novel in this series and with Kelley Armstrong attending the Ballgowns and Books Event I'm looking forward to reading the rest before then :)

  I Bought:

 - Last Star Burning by Caitlin Sangster  I've wanted to read this novel for a while now and I'm stoked to finally have a [very pretty hardback] copy of it to read.    - Reign of Shadows by Sophie Jordan  This book sounds really good and I'm looking forward to reading it.    - Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge   I've heard a lot of great things about Hodge's retellings and I'm hoping it'll be as good as it appears.   - Defiance by C.J. Redwine  I've been waiting to read this series for a while and beside the heroines awesome name (hehe) I think it sounds kickass.   - Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon  I still haven't watched the movie of this novel but I think it looks so good and I'm hoping to read this book first before I see it.      - Scythe by Neal Shusterman   I'm yet to read anything by Neal Shusterman but I think the series sounds amazing and when The Book Depository had this on sale for $7 I had to get myself a copy.     What did the owls bring to you this week?

- The Wrath and the Dawn by Renée Ahdieh 
I've heard a lot of great about this series and am looking forward to discovering it for myself.

- Empress of a Thousand Skies by Rhoda Belleza 
I've wanted to read this novel ever since I learnt about it. Happy to finally have a copy.

- Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout 
I love Jennifer L. Armentrout's books and have been meaning to get a copy of this novel for a while. Can't wait to read it.

- The Evil Queen by Gena Showalter 
Gena Showalter is one of my fave authors ever and I'm sooooooo looking forward to reading this book. It sounds amazing!

- Defy the Fates by Claudia Gray

I absolutely LOVE this series and can't wait to read this final novel. Can't wait to see how Noemi and Abel's story comes to an end!

 

 - The Eyes of Tamburah by Maria V. Snyder 

Maria V. Snyder is without a doubt one of my favourite authors and I can't wait to read this.

 

  - Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff 

Having recently read The Illuminae Files (reviews to come!) I'm excited about the prospect of seeing what these two authors do together next.

 - Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco

This book is quite possibly my most anticipated novel of this year. I don't remember the last time I was so excited for a book to come out. Think this will be my next read as soon as I finish what I'm reading now!!

- Chaser by Kylie Scott

I always enjoy Kylie Scott's novels and have been meaning to get around to getting a copy of this. Now I just need to find the time to read it.

- Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller 

I admit I still need to read the first book, Daughter of the Pirate King but I do own a copy and seeing as this sequel was on sale I couldn't pass up on a copy.

  - Conjuror by John Barrowman & Carole E. Barrowman  I totally bought this book on a whim without knowing too much about it. Mainly because I LOVE John Barrowman!! Oh and it was a hardback for only $8. Who could say no?    And that's me! What did the owls bring you this week?

- Mirror Bound by Monica Sanz

This is the second novel in the the Witchling Academy and I just LOVE IT! This series is fabulous and even though I read it on my Kindle, I just had to get a paperback copy as well. You can check out my review here.

 

- Sherwood by Meagan Spooner 

I really love Meagan Spooner's books and am looking forward to reading this Robinhood retelling. 

- Wicked Abyss by Kresley Cole 

The Immortals After Dark series is one of my favourite PNR series--it's simply fantastic--and I'm looking forward to reading this one.

 - Honor Among Thieves by Rachel Caine & Ann Aguirre  I really enjoy Rachel Caine's novels and I'm hoping to read this book soon in preparation for BABE.    -  Stolen by Kelley Armstrong  I'm a fan of Kelley Armstrong's YA work, but I've yet to really read any of her adult novels. Better get a move on if I want to read them before BABE next year.    And that's me this week! What did the owls bring you?

- The Great Hunt by Wendy Higgins  - The Great Pursuit by Wendy Higgins I bought these books with the intention of getting them signed but unfortuntely Wendy is no longer able to attend BABE. They still sound fabulous however and I can't wait to read this duology.

Welcome to this week's Owl Post! It's been a bit quiet in the book front for me lately but here is a bunch of books I've purchased recently. 

  I Bought:

- Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins 

- Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins

- Sweet Temptation by Wendy Higgins

With Wendy Higgins set to appear at BABE next year, I thought it was high time I gave this series a go. I'm onto Sweet Peril and enjoying it so far.

- Sightwitch by Susan Dennard 

I've loved books 1-3 in the Witchlands series and knew I had to get myself a copy of this novella in the series. Now I just have to find the time to read it!

- Queen of Ruin by Tracy Banghart 

I loved the first novel in this series Grace and Fury and can't wait to begin this sequel. 

-  The Beholder by Anna Bright 
- Wicked Fox by Kat Cho
- Playing with Demons by Cally Edwards
These are some books I bought off ebay in a pack. Can't wait to read The Beholder & Wicked Fox especially.

I've heard nothing but good things about this novel and I know it's a fan-favorite with a lot of readers. Hope I enjoy it as much as everyone else seems to!

- Dread Nation by Justina Ireland

Zombies and the Civil War? Enough said!

- The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa 

This is the last Julie Kagawa novel I needed to get a copy of before she appears at Supanova in two weeks. Can't wait to see her!

Hope to read it in the future when I have the chance.

With BABE only next year (SQUEE!) there is a few books I want to get in preperation. Can't wait. It's sure to be a brilliant event!

I loved the first two novels in The Witchlands series and am super excited to read Bloodwitch. I'm dying to read Aeduan's story and can't wait to dive into this!

I have to admit I still haven't read the first novel in this series, but I do own a copy of Renegades and saw this on sale....so I got myself a copy :)

- Onyx and Ivory by Mindee Arnett 

I really do like the sound of this book and The Book Depository had the hardback for a great price. Looking forward to reading it.
