The second book in the Infinity time travel series is full of action, romance, and an intricately designed roller coaster plot.

One mistake can change everything. Ashlyn Calvert finds that out the hard way when a bad decision leads to the death of her best friend, Noah Anderson.

Only Noah isn’t really gone. Thanks to his parents’ company, the Infinity Division, there is a version of him skipping from one dimension to another, set on revenge for the death of his sister, Kori. When a chance encounter brings him face-to-face with Ash, he’s determined to resist the magnetic pull he’s felt for her time and time again. Because falling for Ash puts his mission in danger.

But there’s more going on in Ash’s alternate universe than either of them knows: a mysterious project called Omega. A conspiracy spanning multiple Earths and revolving around none other than Ash. Its creators would do anything to keep Omega secret…

Anything.

From Omega......

“Maybe you used to be better at it?” I prodded. “I mean, you probably don’t get a lot of time to date while skipping all over creation, right? Maybe you’re just out of practice?”

“I’m not out of practice.” He seethed.

“It’s okay! It’s nothing to be ashamed of—”

For the second time since we’d met, he assaulted me. One second I was having the time of my life pushing his buttons—ridiculously easy to do—the next I was against the wall, Noah’s body covering mine. His lips moved furiously, scorchingly hot and with a level of passion I’d never felt before. His tongue slipped between my lips and despite having told other guys that I hated that, I melted, reveling in the millions of electrical tingles the action sent shooting through my body.

His hands gripped my head on either side. No roaming, no exploration. Somehow it made the whole thing hotter. Like he couldn’t bear to release me in fear that I’d move. That I’d get away and he’d have to stop.

And stop? No. That was a dirty word. A softly whispered sin in the darkest corners of the earth. Stopping this would be a crime of the highest caliber.

Except he did. Stop, that was.

He pulled away just far enough to look me in the eye, not yet letting go of my head. With an extremely satisfied tilt of his lip, he said, “Decent my ass.”

Nobody said being the daughter of an army general was easy. But when her dad sends a teenage subordinate to babysit her while he’s away… That’s taking it a step too far.

Cade, as beautiful as he is deadly, watches Kori with more than just interest. He looks at her like he knows her very soul. And when he saves her from a seemingly random attack, well, that’s when things get weird.

Turns out, Kori’s dad isn’t just an army general—he’s the head of a secret government project that has invented a way to travel between parallel dimensions. Dimensions where there are infinite Koris, infinite Cades…and apparently, on every other Earth, they’re madly in love.

Falling for a soldier is the last thing on Kori’s mind. Especially when she finds herself in a deadly crossfire, and someone from another Earth is hell-bent on revenge…

From Infinity.....

“Is that something people lie about around here?” His blue jeans were worn, pulled over battered black combat boots. The sole of the left one was peeling away from the shoe. Did he think he could slack because Dad wasn't here? That no one would see him and report back? Even if they had permission to be in civies, there were strict standards. While off duty, a soldier had to maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance. This was more an outfit worthy of a high school rebel, which, honestly, this guy didn't look much older than.

The one in the back pushed him aside and came forward. Black hair fell just below his ears and had a slight wave to it. It was fuller than normally allowed, not even close to regulation. On some of our previous bases, hair standards weren't strictly enforced. But at Hannity, they were sticklers. High and tight. Those were the rules.

Like the other guy, he had on a leather jacket with black fatigue pants tucked into slightly worn combat boots. Unlike the first, though, this one had seen some trouble in his day. There was a thin scar on the left side of his face. It went from just above his eyebrow, down across his eye and to the tip of his chin.

My pulse spiked a little as his gaze raked over me. Down and up, then up and down, lips parting slightly. I didn't go for greenies, but this one sent the butterflies in my stomach tripping crazy. It was the scar. It added character to his angular face, suggesting that maybe there was more than meets the eye. Or possibly it was the way he was looking at me. With a spark of hunger and something close to wonder in his expression. I'd never had anyone look at me that way. Like I was something mythical and rare. A creature that shouldn't exist. I twisted, shifting so that the door obscured just a little more of me from his view.

He hesitated, focus still trained on me, and for a moment I thought he might poke me to be sure I was real. Clearing his throat, he finally said, “I'm Private First Class Cade Granger, and this is…” He paused to glance over his shoulder. “Recruit Noah Emeal.”

“A private and a fuzzy. Really?” I wasn't sure if I should be pleased or insulted. I mean, why bother sending supervision at all if you were going to scrape the bottom of the barrel?

“I promise you'll be safe with us, Miss Anderson.”

Miss Anderson. Huh. Maybe there wasn't more to this guy. He sounded just like the rest of them. Formal and uptight. “That right? So you're here to save me from myself?” Because, really, that was the problem, right? I couldn't be trusted to keep myself out of trouble.

“I'm not sure I understand.” He tilted his head to the left, confused, but didn’t take his eyes off me. In fact, if anything, his gaze grew more intense. It was like he and I were the only ones in the room. In the world…

“I'd really appreciate it if you could stop staring.” I snapped. “I can't tell if you're mentally trying to strip me, or contemplating which way to cook my skin for Sunday dinner. Either way, it’s creeping me the hell out.”

Review:

Infinity kicks of Jus Accardo’s Infinity Division series and is an exciting start to a promising new sci-fi series featuring danger, romance and interdimensional travel!

Seventeen year old Kori Anderson is an army brat, used to moving a lot due to her Amy general father’s job. It’s never been a problem, but with her mother having passed away two years before, Kori is lonelier than ever and now finds herself in trouble for public vandalism. Her dad’s response is to send two young recruits to watch over and shadow her, but there’s something about the two boys that Kori can’t quite put her finger on. Cade Granger ignites a fire in her like no other, and watches her with an equally hot look in his eyes, while Noah is surly and gruff and seems to take an instant dislike to Kori. Discovering the truth about Cade and Noah changes everything Kori ever knew about herself and her world. Now left connected to a device that allows its wearer to jump dimensions and will surely kill Kori if not taken off, Kori, Cade and Noah will have to outsmart an enemy driven by revenge if Kori has any hope of surviving…..

Having previously had mixed thoughts about Jus Accardo’s work in the past, I headed into Infinity loving the concept of the tale, but not sure what to expect. As a sci-fi geek, multiple dimensions is something I’ve always found exciting, but I find that authors sometimes turn fated loves such as the one I was expecting between Kori and Cade into my long standing pet peeve, insta-love. So I was perplexed….then Jus Accardo sucker punched me with this tale and blew all my hesitations out of the water!

Extremely addictive, Infinity was a really enjoyable story to read! It was fast paced, well told and very exciting. Introducing readers to an intriguing sci-fi world I’d keen to explore more of, Infinity follows a strong heroine in Kori who is fiery and passionate. Kori has plenty of attitude and personality, and is genuinely likable.

Jus Accardo supports Kori with two super awesome personalities in Cade and Noah, who are obvious highlights to the story with fantastic dialogue, interactions and an addictive connection between the three evident throughout Infinity. Cade was an excellent love interest for Kori. He was strong, capable and very sweet. He wanted to right wrongs and basically save the world. And Noah? Though grumpy and argumentative, I really liked Noah. He was entertaining and I did like his attitude. Plus, I want to give Jus Accardo a serious high five for stepping away from the stereo-typical jerk/nasty-guy-secretly-wants-and-then-gets-the-girl theme that gets around where Noah is concerned. His connection to Kori is one of a different nature, that I’m excited to explore further in the rest of the series.

I was really impressed with Infinity and found it highly entertaining reading. Jus Accardo introduces readers to an intriguing new world and a feisty heroine I can’t wait to follow in the next book. A great kick-start to a series that has a lot of potential, Infinity definitely left me craving more!
