Faerie Social Networks
When I was writing the end chapters for
The Faerie Guardian, the first book in the Creepy Hollow series, I thought, why shouldn't faeries have their own versions of social networks? Like faerie versions of Twitter and Facebook and all of that? So you'll see a little bit about social networking spells mentioned in the bonus chapters of
The Faerie Guardian, and a bit more in
The Faerie Prince. These are spells that faeries can use on their mirrors and their amber (the faerie version of cellphones. They write on them with a magical stylus).
I hadn't yet considered what these social networks might be called when Adriana from
In Between asked me, "Is, by any chance, Fae'sBook the name of the social network V and Ryn use?" And, of course, it seems
obvious that it would be called that, or some variation of it! So today I give you Vi's first time using
Faebook on her amber ...

Rachel Morgan was born in South Africa and spent a large portion
of her childhood living in a fantasy land of her own making. After completing a
degree in genetics, she decided science wasn’t for her—after all, they didn’t
approve of made-up facts. These days she spends much of her time immersed in
fantasy land once more, writing fiction for young adults.
And.....don't forget the giveaway! Rachel Morgan has a really fantastic TOUR WIDE giveaway going on so be sure to use the below rafflecopter for your chance to win The Faerie Prince goodies!
