HER TOUCH IS DEADLY
As the only female Seminus demon ever born, master assassin Sinead Donnelly is used to being treated like an outcast. She spent decades enslaved, and now vows she'll die before she'll relinquish her freedom again. Then Sin's innate ability to kill her enemies goes awry: She creates a lethal new werewolf virus that sparks a firestorm of panic and violence.
HIS HUNGER CAN'T BE DENIED
Half-werewolf, half-vampire Conall Dearghul is charged with bringing in Sin to face punishment for the plague. And she's no stranger: He's bound to her by blood, and the one sexual encounter they shared has left him hungering for her raw sensuality. Worse, Sin is the underworld's most wanted and Con soon learns he's the only one who can help her . . . and that saving her life might mean sacrificing his own.

I loved this book. After Wraiths I think it’s my fave. I loved it from the beginning and I really enjoyed the storyline and plot. This book was so much more exciting than perhaps, say, the first two. There were so many things happening, from the Warg wars to Sin and Con and everything in between.
I thought Sin was brilliant. She’s the best female character that’s been in the series by far. She was tough and fierce and brutal and everything that made her a Semus demon and yet she was so much more. Buried deep under the shield she had around herself to protect her heart, there was more to her than what she showed and what people believed. She had a good heart and truly didn’t want to hurt people when she didn’t have to. Everything she’d done, both as an assassin and as a sex demon was to survive and I have to appreciate a girl who can do that, even if my heart broke for her over it too. She’d been through so much and was vulnerable underneith. She was a very flawed individual and she had her issues. Throughout the whole story I wanted nothing more that to have her find happiness and let Con in. I knew that they were meant for one another and it was great when they saw it.
What can I say? Conall was hot! The first male lead in this series that hasn’t been a demon, there was still something very sexy and alluring about him. He had a mischievous nature, and yet he was a good guy at his heart. He lived for the rush and I don’t know....there’s something so attractive about that to me. Still, it was nice to see him change and actually fall for Sin. They made a great pair!
Sin and Con together was a perfect match. They may have had their issues from the very start, but when things were good...whoa...were they good! They seemed to complement each other so well, and eased the trauma of each other’s pasts. It’s always great to find a couple like the two of them and I couldn’t be happier with the way their story went..
I swear though, when Con “died”, my heart literally stopped. I was shocked and it was not something I was expecting, so kudos to Larissa Ione for that! When Sin learned of his “death” and felt it, finally really felt it, it was an emotional scene. And one of the best in the book, if not the whole series! When she breaks down in Shades arms and then all the other brothers, Eidolon, Wraith and Lore surge around her, all holding her in some way it’s a beautiful thing. They’ve all found each other and it’s in this moment that they really are a family, feeling each other’s pain and grief. Despite the sadness of that scene, I love it and it will stay with me. However Con was brought back to life in a way and became a full vampire meaning that he and Sin can be together and that they got their happily ever after.
It was no nice to see all of the characters and their children together in the end. I’m excited that Lore and Idess want to have a baby and that his brothers are gonna help him—it was very sweet! Plus Eidolon and Tayla are gonna start trying too, which is fabulous. Sin and Con have the chance to have children in the future too and the book ended with endless possibilities for the characters.
This was the perfect end to this series. I know it and I have had our issues, but in the end I really enjoyed reading it and I’m actually a tad sad to see it finished. It ended perfectly and I’m glad to have read it. I’ll defiantly be reading the spin off series and hoping it’s as good. With what we learned at the end of Sin’s book, things are going to be interesting and I look forward to seeing what Larissa Ione has in store for us next!
