Owl Post #5

Hello my lovelies and welcome to another Owl Post here at The Rest Is Still Unwritten!

Inspired by The Story Siren's In My Mailbox, Owl Post allows us bloggers to showcase the books we've bought, won or received throughout the week and is hosted by Brodie over at Eleusinian Mysteries. We all know that the Owl Post is the fastest way to send and receive mail and they certainly make me happy every time they drop a book off.

Unfortunately, I've been dealing with a lot of stress lately and have gotten behind a lot with my blogging. Luckily, that means I have quite a few goodies to share with you this week.

Here's what I got.........

For Review:

 From HarlequinTEEN Australia....

-Covet by Melissa Darnell
I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so I'm really looking forward to reading this and seeing what's next for Savannah and Tristan!

-Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
*SQUEE* I've already read this book and I LOVED it! And I totally wasn't expecting to! Pushing the Limits normally wouldn't be my kind of read (no paranormal aspect) but this book was just to-die for. Cannot wait for the next one!!

-The Lost Prince by Julie Kagawa
Two words....Julie.Kagawa. Nuff said! Considering the Iron Fey series is an all time fave of mine I was sooooooo happy to get my hands on this book. And it was....So. Good. So thrilled to be in this world again! Loved it!

......Thank you Polina for these--you are pure goddess!

From Random House Australia.....

-Skylark by Meagan Spooner
I was a little surprised when I found this one on my doorstep, but the concept sounds interesting even if I've heard mixed reviews. Anyone read and would recommend?

....Thank you Dorothy!

From Spencer Hill Press.....

-Minder by Kate Kaynak
-Amarok by Angela J. Townsend
-Touch of Death by Kelly Hashway
All three of these are part of the Aussie ARC tour. I've already read both Amarok and Touch of Death with both reviews to come. Touch of Death will go to the next blogger tomorrow and once I've finished Minder, I'll shoot it and Amarok over to their next reader :)

.....Thanks Kate for sending these all the way to Oz--you rock!

I Bought:

-Touch by Jus Accardo
I was really looking forward to this one and I read it the other day. Unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations, but I'll probably read the next one.

-The Temptation by Alisa Valdes
This looks soooooo good. I just love the premise and the cover is just awesome. This was actually one of my WOW's a while back so I knew I had to have a copy. Cannot wait to read it!

-Deep Kiss of Winter by Kresley Cole and Gena Showalter
-Dark Taste of Rapture by Gena Showalter
I LOOOOOVE Showalter's Alien Huntress series that I recently bought and devoured and these were the final stories in the series released right now. Deep Kiss of Winter features a short story by Kresley Cole as well as Showalter and having recently read Cole's, Poison Princess, I'm very eager to read her adult series, Immortals After Dark as well.

And that's what I've gotten these past few weeks :)
Tell me what the owls dropped off in YOUR mailbox this week!

  2. I LOVED LOVED Touch! I have a character chat with the characters up on my blog today in fact. I still need to read The Lost Prince and I'm super curious about Skylark and Touch of Death. Happy reading!
Also so sorry to hear about your dog. My cat is 17 and my baby! I bottle fed him when he was only 2 days old and I'm having such a hard time with his deteriorating health. Pets are such great friends and truly part of our families.
