In the final book in the New York Times bestselling Ruined series, the romance of The Selection and the epic stakes of Red Queen come together in a story of revenge, adventure, and unexpected love.

Emelina Flores and her sister, Olivia, were determined to bring peace to the people of Ruina. But as the war for liberation raged on, what triumph and freedom meant to Em and Olivia slowly changed. As Olivia’s violence and thirst for vengeance became her only ambition, Em was left to pick up the pieces.

But it’s not only Em who is upset by Olivia’s increased violence. Other members of the Ruined army are beginning to see the cracks, and soon a small group of them defects from Olivia’s army and joins Em instead. Review:

Allied is the third and final novel in Amy Tintera's breathtaking Ruined trilogy and brings the series to a spectacular close with a fast paced, exciting and riveting story sure to leave you breathless.

For the longest time, Emelina and Olivia Flores were driven to obtain justice for their people. Yet as Em found herself discovering that not everything was as black and white as she first thought it was, Olivia's thirst for violence saw the sisters forge different paths. Now Em must find a way to stop Olivia from delivering the destruction she is determined to dispense. As the Ruined army march on the Lera Kingdom, cracks begin to form in the small group and soon a number defect to Em's cause. But nothing will persuade Olivia to abandon her search for vengeance and Em may be forced to make the hardest choice she has ever made in order to save those she loves.....

Amy Tintera has done it again! As I knew she would. Allied may be the last novel in the series but it is nothing if not as brilliant as it's predecessors and is just as thrilling, exciting and romantic as ever! Beautifully written and unfolding through the eyes of fan favorite's Em, Cas, Aren, Gallo and Iria amongst others, Allied is beguiling and addictive reading.

Emelina Flores and Prince Casmir have come such a long way since Em infiltrated the royal family as his betrothed and married him in an effort to save her sister. Amy Tintera has put her characters through so much and I have loved each and every moment of it; easily falling in love with the characters that inhabit this incredible fantasy world.

Em and Cas have been just wonderful to follow. I wholeheartedly enjoyed seeing our main protagonist Em develop from someone focused solely on revenge and her idea of justice to an individual who now sees the bigger picture and who has come to see that not all the Leran people are evil. She's always been strong and independent so it's been lovely watching her fall in love with Cas, bringing to her a softer side.

After the events of the previous two novels, Allied builds to an epic battle that will decide once and for all if Em can stop Olivia. There are many questions to be explored and addressed with the future of two races who were once at war with each other woven firmly together. Author Amy Tintera truly does perfectly conclude this series--I couldn't have wished for a better ending.

Fast paced, exciting and riveting until the very end, Allied brings to a close a series I have simply adored. Amy Tintera's Ruined series is easily one of my favourites and I look forward to reading it again and again in the future. If you haven't had a chance to read this series yet, I highly recommend you do as I doubt you'll be sorry--simply brilliant!
