Owl Post #123

Inspired by The Story Siren's In My Mailbox, Owl Post allows us bloggers to showcase the books we've bought, won or received throughout the week and is hosted by Brodie over at Eleusinian Mysteries. We all know that the Owl Post is the fastest way to send and receive mail and they certainly make me happy every time they drop a book off.

Hello book lovers and welcome to another Owl Post!

I have a few books to share this week, mostly because I've been on a book buying spree with so many signings coming up :)

 For Review:
From Allen & Unwin:
- My Lovely Frankie by Judith Clarke
I've heard this is a really beautiful and powerful novel--not sure if it's necessarily my kind of thing, but I may give it a go.

...Thank you guys!

From Pan Macmillan:
- Deeper than the Sea by Nelika Mcdonald
I'm not really sure what this novel is about and couldn't even see much about it on Goodreads. We'll see what happens, but I'm not sure if this one is for me.....

...Thank you guys!

 I Bought:
- New York Nights by C.J. Duggan
- Paradise Road by C.J. Duggan
More Fictionally Yours Melbourne buying in preparation for September. I love C.J. Duggan and these were the last books of hers I needed to get in paperback :)

- Haunted by Alexandra Adornetto
I loved the first novel in this series Ghost House and was shocked when I realized this sequel was out and I had no idea. I had to get myself a copy--now I just need to find the time to read it. LOL.

- The Game of Lives by James Dashner
I love James Dashner and this was the only book of his I didn't have. All ready to meet the man on Sunday at Sydney Supanova!

- Firefight by Brandon Sanderson
- Calamity by Brandon Sanderson
I made a deal with myself to read the first novel in this series Steelheart before meeting Sanderson at Supanova and I loved it so much (I'm almost finished!) I had to race out and get the rest of the series to read!

- Who's Afraid? by Maria Lewis
Another Supanova attendee, I've heard soooo many great things about this book. Can't wait to read it myself :)

- Possession by J.R. Ward
I have to admit I need to play catch up with this series---I now own books 4 and 5, but haven't read either yet--but when I saw this at my local second hand bookstore in perfect condition I had to snag it at such a cheap price!

And that's me!
What did the owls bring YOU this week?
